Shooting boots return, a trio of braces and it could have been double figures. It was one hell of a night for Telford Town on Tuesday.
Following on from the weekend's victory Telford pressed from the off, with chances coming in early before the 1st goal arrived in the 26th minute as a cross from the left was met by Ryan Mansell.
Straight from the kick off Telford pushed, and a quick throw created space for Kyle Cassell to put in the 2nd. We didn’t have to wait much longer for the 3rd as a series of quick passes ends with a goal from Lewis Hayden.
Just before half time debutant Andy Nicol plays a nice one two before finishing it off and getting his 1st goal for the club.
2nd half frustrations for Southport started to show as in the 52nd minute Ewan Wenger received the 1st card of the game. But they were eased briefly as a push in the back led to a penalty for them which was scored by James Fletcher.
On the 60th minute Conor McKenna was yellow carded for Southport, before Ryan Mansell scored his 2nd of the evening after a quick turnaround from a throw in a header laying into his path for him to finish.
Andy Nicol scored again in the 75th minute thanks to pressure being put on the keeper and keeping the ball in play, which allowed Andy to pick his spot.
Jake Willis gets the final yellow of the evening before 2 goals in quick succession from Lewis Hayden and Tom Daley rounded off a very empathic performance from Telford Town.
